Ebro Covers Irv Gotti’s Messy Drink Champs Interview

Ebro in the Morning discussed Irv Gotti’s “messy” interview on Drink Champs. Ebro disgust the Murder Inc documentary with Irv Gotti and Ja Rule. Singer Ashanti did not want to participate in the film.

Ebro said perhaps that’s why Gotti was talking “crazy” about Ashanti. The host said Gotti went into detail about an alleged relationship with this singer. When the affair happened in 2002, Gotti was married, said Ebro.

He added that Ashanti was signed to the Murder Inc label at the time. Gotti claims to have come up with the song “Happy” after a “roll in the hay” with the talented Ashanti. This solidifies many speculations about Ashanti’s relationship with the mogul.

After so many years, the show debated why Gotti would discuss his relationship with Ashanti. The radio host said it is because the label owner is bitter and still in love with the megastar. Ebro said Gotti wanted to explain why Ashanti was not a part of the show.

Ebro said that when men spill the beans, it usually does not go over well for them. The interview would have been perceived differently if it had been a woman being “messy” and talking about an old relationship. Ja Rule was trying to steer the discussion away from the topic of Ashanti, but it did not work, said Ebro.
