Amazon Music is launching a brand new series, ‘Produced By’, aiming to pair famous producers with top artists for exclusive releases available only on its platform.
First collaboration on the docket is an original song, ‘Leftovers’, produced by Matt Ross-Spang with Margo Price. The Matt Ross-Spang series will continue with releases from Al Green, William Bell, and John Prine. Future releases under the Produced By banner will feature a variety of genres.
Ross-Spang commented on the series of releases:
“I’m excited and honored to play a role in this innovative opportunity Amazon Music is providing these extraordinary individuals. As my hero Sam Phillips said: ‘If you’re not doing something different you’re not doing anything!’”
To hear the new series, Amazon Music listeners can ask Alexa to play the playlist Produced by Matt Ross-Spang, and it will be available in the Amazon Music app for Android and iOS devices.
