DJ Steez, known to his family, friends, and loved ones as Jose Silva died on August 23rd, 2015 due to a beating inside the Hollywood nightclub, Cashmere. Jose was 20 years old at the time of his unfortunate death.
He was working Saturday night at Cashmere and after his set, he was hanging out with his friends inside the club according to KTLA reports. A little after midnight, a fight broke out on the club’s second level and according to Silva’s cousin, Dinora Lopez. As Silva made an attempt to defend his friend, he was then attacked by a group of men. By the time club security responded to the fight, Silva was already unconscious. Silva was rushed to the hospital but she remained in a coma until the time of his passing on Sunday night.
