I personally remember Thursday nights was a night that you couldn’t call my parent’s house, ring the door bell, or make too much noise when the Cosby Show was on. That show resonated with me and my family in such a way that we were glued to the characters and we truly believed that a Black family could  live that portrayed existence. More than 20 years after The Cosby Show finale aired, actress Phylicia Rashad is still best known as TV’s favorite mom, Clair Huxtable.
