Job Title Full Time Producer (WVEE)Auto req ID 13472BRMarket AtlantaCBS RadioStation WVEE-FMCBS RadioFormat UrbanDepartment / Business Unit Programming/CBS RadioJob Description CBS Radio ” Atlanta, WVEE-FM is seeking full-time Producers. The ideal candidates for these positions will be capable of producing a daily morning/midday/afternoon or night show, with talent that is entertaining, informative and relatable to the listening audience. Familiarity with the Radio Station at large, format and its involvement in the marketplace is vital to these positions.

Required Skills/Experience-2 years experience as producer and 2 years as on-air host. Organizational Skills-Be very detail oriented and able to juggle multiple show elements simultaneously.-Prepare detailed daily show outlines-Stay abreast of current news, events and trends locally/nationally that are relevant and compelling to listeners.-Research topic areas utilizing various resources i.e. internet, relationships, Twitter, Facebook-Oversee offsite Radio Station appearances from start to finish with talent and serve as conduit between Sales and talent.-Facilitate execution of talent live reads & endorsementsShow Direction-Work in conjunction with talent providing guidance and direction to improve on-air delivery-Exceptional communication, clearly able to articulate objectives to talent quickly and proficiently.-Effectively motivate and maintain a positive rapport with team-Serve as liaison between Radio Station departments and talent.-Propose, research and book show guests-Manage Interns, directly supervising, training and recruiting on a consistent basis-Maintain company policies and following applicable laws and FCC regulationsProduction-Ability to learn and utilize new software applications and equipment as show requires-Highly knowledgeable of Adobe Audition and Vox Pro, Pro Tools (not required but recommended)-Capable of handling multiple production details with little or no supervision. Creative Talent-Proficient with utilization of various Web 2.0 tools i.e.

Twitter, Facebook, Blogging etc.-Develop content for show website and provide new and relevant material daily.-Ability to incorporate listening audience into show in engaging ways i.e. phone calls, text messages, social media-Offer innovative approaches to shows programming-Able to conceptualize show bits, promos, and benchmarks-Constantly looks for new ways to incorporate talent into listener’s daily lifestyle building buzz via remotes, promotions, community relations etc. To apply, please visit our career center at www.cbsradio.com.
