Radio Facts QOD: English-Only Rule on American Jobs?

I thought this would be an interesting radio show topic. Dozens of Filipino hospital workers in California are suing  their employer, claiming they were the only ethnic group  targeted by a rule requiring them to speak only English. Personally, I don’t believe that but if it is the case, it’s because their supervisors may or may not have been bilingual. Do you find it incredibly rude and inconsiderate when people speak in their native tongue in an American’s presence be it on a job or in a social situation? Should there be an English-Only rule on jobs where there are people of mixed races and ethnicity? (FYI “QOD” is Question of the Day)
