MSNBC and CNN Legal Analyst Midwin Charles has died.

The founder of the successful law firm Midwin Charles & Associates LLC was 47. Charles graduated from Syracuse University and received her law degree from American University. There she was the articles editor for the American University Law Review. She appeared as a guest and guest host on many shows including CNN, MSNBC, The Wendy Williams Show and she was a guest host for the radio show “Express Yourself” on New York’s 107.5 WBLS as well as SIRIUS XM Radio.

She had a prestigious legal career serving as a research fellow at Harvard Law School and for the U.S Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Charles was also an active member of Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network as well as The Haitian Roundtable. She was also the author of “Infinite Possibilities of the Law Degree”
