A woman wrote into the Steve Harvey show to say she had been in a relationship with a man for six months. They fell in love quickly and began living together. The man is 36 years old, and the woman who wrote the letter is 31.
The woman said the man was going through a divorce when they met, and she waited for the papers to be signed before they had sex. The letter writer was told that the wife divorced the man because he had cheated on his spouse several times. The husband said he cheated because his wife had stopped having sex with him.
The woman wrote that the husband often went to his ex-wife’s house to get his things so he could move out completely and move in with her. Recently he went to his ex-wife’s house, and when he came home, he was indifferent. He was confronted about cheating and admitted that he had done so.
In the morning, the man confessed that he had talked to his ex-wife and decided to move back in with her because he was ashamed of how he left. A couple of days later, he left the woman and moved back into his home with his wife. When the man visited the letter writer to see if she was okay, they had sex.
And the woman wanted the man to move back into the house. He said it was possible if she was open to a relationship with him, although he still has a relationship with his wife. The woman is confused and does not know if that is something she could do.
The woman wanted to know if having a part of a man is better than having no man nowadays. Shirley Strawberry said this situation is unacceptable any day unless a person is desperate. She said for the woman to let her boyfriend return to his wife and to get out of that “craziness.”Steve said the woman’s letter made no sense, and he called it the letter of “what” because everything the woman said left him with many questions.
He did not understand the woman’s actions concerning her cheating boyfriend. He said the woman was “stupid” for still allowing the man to see her after moving back in with his wife. The woman wanted to know if she should let the relationship continue.
