iHeartMedia New York’s Angela Yee hosted a launch party for her new nationally-syndicated midday show “Way Up With Angela Yee” presented by Born in Roma Intense Perfume by Valentino at the legendary 40/40 Club. The award-winning media personality and Radio Hall of Famer celebrated with special guests including Gayle King of CBS Mornings, Senator London Lamar, Speaker of the New York State Assembly Carl Heastie, sports journalist Taylor Rooks, comedian Godfrey, comedian Wil Sylvince, TV host Justina Valentine,TV personality Renee Graziano, TJ Atoms of “Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga,” actor Jamie Hector, “Earn Your Leisure” and “Assets Over Liabilities” podcast hosts Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings,activist Tamika Mallory,entrepreneur John Hope Bryant, Co-founder and CEO of 300 Entertainment Kevin Liles, and blogger ItsBizkit. Hip-hop artists including Capella Grey, Yung Bleu, Maino, Rowdy Rebel and Chinese Kitty were also in attendance.
The event featured performances by DJ TJ, DJ Suave and DJ Loui Vee and specialty cocktails were served to guests with ingredients from Yee’s juice bar and coffee shops.
