Steve Harvey Show: Mystikal Rape Charge vs R. Kelly

The Steve Harvey Morning Show compares Mystikal’s rape charge to R Kelly’s pattern of sexual abuse. The Rapper, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was arrested for the third time for sex crimes, said Shirley Strawberry. He has been charged with first-degree rape, false imprisonment, simple robbery, domestic abuse, and property damage.

Mystikal spent six years in prison after a 2004 arrest for sexually assaulting his hairstylist, and he had to register as a sex offender upon his release. In 2017, Mystikal was detained again for an alleged sexual assault against a female at a Shreveport casino, but those charges were eventually dismissed, said Strawberry. The morning show said they thought the post about Mystikal was an old post.

They were in disbelief when they realized the charges were recent. The morning show host was surprised that he was in trouble again and said it sounded like R Kelly’s behavior.

“I thought it was an old post when I first saw it,” said Strawberry.

“Again, and again, and again, this some old, sounding like R Kelly 2.0 type stuff. That’s behavior,” said the host.

The morning show agreed that the rapper’s behavior shows a pattern. The show said they feel “horrible” for the victims.
