Rickey Smiley Show Backs SZA’s TikTok Deletion

The Rickey Smiley Morning Show agreed with SZA’s decision to delete her TikTok account. The singer deleted her account for Mental Health Awareness Month. Via Instagram Stories, she explained her decision to remove the social media platform.

“I deleted my TikTok for Mental Health Awareness Month. I encourage everyone to delete anything, anyone, and everything that doesn’t serve you. Blessed,” SZA said.

In a separate story, she shared a screenshot of a message she received from someone else that said get off the internet. The internet is demonic.

Da Brat said, if getting off the internet is best for an individual to maintain healthy mental health, then deleting social media is the wise decision.

“If it’s going to help your mental health, yeah, get off Instagram, all of that. If it helps you do what’s best for you, especially during Mental Health Awareness month,” said Da Brat.
