Thirst Trap & Don’t Date Brandon: Dark Digital Fame

Paramount+ is set to launch two new docuseries this fall, diving into the world of digital fame, obsession, and deception. Thirst Trap: The Fame. The Fantasy.

The Fallout and Don’t Date Brandon explore the darker side of online relationships and the consequences of internet fame. Thirst Trap follows the shocking story of 21-year-old William White, whose innocent TikTok lip-syncing video turns into a viral sensation. What began as fun interactions with fans soon spirals into jealousy, blackmail, and betrayal.

The docuseries provides an intimate look at internet culture, obsession, and identity through exclusive interviews with William and his superfans. Directed by Trish Neufeld, Thirst Trap is a powerful exploration of how the lines between reality and online fantasy blur in today’s digital world. Don’t Date Brandon tells the true-crime story of Amber, who thought she found the perfect boyfriend in Brandon, whom she met online.

However, after connecting with Brandon’s ex-wife, Athena, Amber learns shocking truths that flip their world upside down. As the two women expose Brandon’s web of lies, more victims come forward, and new revelations surface. This gripping story is about survival, solidarity, and the courage of women standing together to take down a manipulative liar.

Directed by Grace Chapman, Don’t Date Brandon is a chilling exploration of how deceit can unravel relationships and lives. Both series are part of Paramount’s slate of intense, raw documentaries. Thirst Trap is set to premiere on September 9, 2025, while Don’t Date Brandon will debut on October 28, 2025.

With their gripping interviews and powerful storytelling, these docuseries promise to captivate audiences with their unflinching look at the impact of digital connections gone wrong.
