Sony Pictures Television announced that “The Dr. Oz Show” will be ending on Jan. 14 so the daytime host can focus on pursuing his Pennsylvania Senate run. The Dr.

Oz Show has won 10 Daytime Emmy Awards and was renewed for its 13th season in September 2020 with the intention to carry out until Spring 2023. In November, Dr. Oz announced that he planned to run for Pennsylvania Senate to replace U.S.

Senator Pat Toomey. Soon after, Fox Station Group announced they were going to pull the show from New York and Pennsylvania.

The Dr. Oz Show will be replaced with “The Good Dish” on Jan. 17, a one-hour syndicated cooking and chat show hosted by Dr.

Oz’s daughter Daphne Oz, Gail Simmons, and Jamika Pessoa. The show has recently been picked up by multiple station groups in the country such as Fox, Gray and Sinclair, Nexstar, and more. The show will premiere in top market stations such as New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Chicago.

The launch will reach over 90% of the United States.
