COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was convicted Wednesday in the February slaying of a Power 107.5 radio DJ.
Eugene Brown, a DJ and account executive for Radio One, was shot and killed Feb. 7 at the 1 Happy Family Bar, located on the city’s near north side.
The shooting left another person wounded.
Larue Monford was found guilty Wednesday on charges of murder, attempted murder and felonious assault in connection with the shooting.
Monford is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
