Saints & Sinners Delivers Great Finale

I finally got to watch the final episode of Bounce’s Saints & Sinners and I was not disappointed.

Saints & Sinners has been one of my favorite shows since its inception. I personally know a few of the cast members and while it took a minute to get used to several cast changes everyone did a spectacular job.

Besides great scripts, the one thing that became apparent was how talented some of the reality stars are as actors. One exceptional actor in the series was Tami Roman as Felicia the displaced sister of her family’s successful financial business. I was genuinely surprised at how good of an actress she is and was sorry to see her replaced the next season by Lisa Wu. Out of the entire show that was the only disappointment. Lisa wasn’t bad but Tami’s character had a lot of room to grow on the show.

Vanessa Bell Calloway and Clifton Powell did outstanding work during all the episodes and Christian Keyes, who I met on one of Tom Joyner’s cruises before the show premiered, did an excellent job as well. Even Karlie Redd came through.

When you look at Saints & Sinners, Ozark, Queen of the South and a few other shows you see a lot of the same actors which leads you to believe the shows are all filmed in the new black film space, Atlanta and that’s great. It could have gone another season or two it was so good. Kudos to everyone who came together to make this great show. Below is a recent press release to give you more info.
