AUSTIN, TX (11.21.16) – President Colette Pierce Burnette hosted the first Ministers Breakfast, where more than a dozen clergy members from local religious institutions gathered in the President’s Dining Room.
Those in attendance received information regarding the University’s initiatives, upcoming events and student achievements. While many of those in attendance were familiar with the University, this event served as a touchpoint for sharing important information. Huston-Tillotson is looking to the local religious institutions to serve as ambassadors in reaching the members of their congregation who are looking to attend college following their graduation.
We are looking forward to visiting the congregations of those churches that expressed interest in holding an HT Day for their high school students.
