Second Estate Records, a new label founded by A&R veteran and entrepreneur�Mel Carter,�today�named�Katie Kay�its�General Manager and�Adise Bellille�its President.�Together, Kay and Bellille�will shepherd upcoming releases from buzzing�Philadelphia�phenomenon�2Rare�and many more�acts�in partnership with�Warner Records�via�Second Estate’srecently minted�worldwide joint venture.

Welcoming these executives to the team, Carter said, “Katie and Adise are both talented music executives who understand how to move an artist in an ever-changing landscape. With their knowledge and expertise, I’m confident we can take Second Estate to the next level. This is a huge win for our label and the roster we are developing.”

Rapper 2Rare is one of the leading purveyors of Philly club music. His influence has been infectious since his arrival with “Q-Pid,” his debut smash single in collaboration with Lil Durk. 2Rare’s standout verse on NLE Choppa’s “Do It Again” garnered him his first entry on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. 2Rare continues to grow and master new sounds on his way to superstardom.

Katie Kay previously served as Vice President of Marketing at Cinematic Music Group, strategizing multiplatinum releases by the likes of Flipp Dinero, Big Yavo, Cam’ron, and more. Working in artist management, she previously facilitated projects for everyone from Wale to YFN Lucci. In 2022, HitsDailyDouble named her among its “Noisemakers, and she appeared on the publication’s2023 Women’s History Month cover.

Adise Bellille remains a renowned entertainment and hospitality entrepreneur. He founded New York-based nightlife hub Carefree Nation and has successfully opened, owned, and operated popular hotspots such as Greenhouse NY, W.I.P. (Work in Progress), and Kovo in addition to Oui Cocktail Lounge. Bellille also ignited the launch of Coney Artwalls�a popular festival venue in Coney Island.

Kay and Bellille�join the current�Second Estate�team alongside�founder, Mel�Carter; Director of Operations�Brittany Mortera; A&R�Fat Ricky; and Project Manager�Fame Combs.
