JESSIE REYEZ RELEASES CHILLING NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “CRAZY” RECEIVES FIRST GRAMMY NOMINATION FOR BEING HUMAN IN

Toronto singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez has released her new music video for her cover of “Crazy”. The fitting, modern version of Patsy Cline’s iconic track showcases Jessie’s dreamy vocals, and the video puts a cinematic twist on the songs narrative. The video is a graphic, but telling take on the reality of emotional and physically abusive relationships. Surrounded by a smoky fog, she gave a stunning and moving live performance of the single on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, where she was introduced by fellow Grammy nominee and friend Billie Eilish. Watch HERE.

This release follows her latest “Far Away” – the critically acclaimed second single from her upcoming project slated for early 2020. Reyez was just chosen as one of Apple Music’s Up Next artist, an initiative geared towards identifying, showcasing, and elevating rising talent. She has been nominated for a GRAMMY Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album for her standout sophomore EP release Being Human In Public. Jessie Reyez’s highly anticipated debut album is slated for early 2020 on FMLY / Island.
