Longtime air personality EDDIE LOVE has exited EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS Urban AC WBLS (107.5)/NEW YORK.

LOVE released a statement, “Tonight, I will tender my resignation at WBLS NYC after 15-years. VINNY BROWN brought me here from JAMMIN Z90 SAN DIEGO in 2002. The NEW YORK listeners welcomed myself and my then 5-year old daughter with loving support from the start. I do this after much soul searching and thorough thought. NEW YORK CITY Tri State listeners are some of the best in the world! I will miss talking to them on a weekly basis as I take time to contemplate my next God directed and inspired move.”

PD Skip Dillard (WBLS and WLIB) told ALL ACCESS, “I wish EDDIE the best. I’ve known him since the first day I arrived at WBLS. I appreciate his work and our working relationship over the years.”
