If you haven’t heard, “Atlanta” is an upcoming American semi-autobiographical comedy-drama television series created by and starring Donald Glover. The series is about two cousins navigating their way in the Atlanta rap scene in an effort to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Slated to premiere on FX in September, Glover chopped it up with the Associated Press about the show and what the actual city of Atlanta means to the American culture.
