The Rickey Smiley Morning Show discussed Garcelle Beauvais’ negative experience auditioning for The View. Beauvais said Whoopi Goldberg’s testy behavior came as a surprise. The actress opened up about her unpleasant experience while guest-hosting the show she said, according to Page Six.
“I was embarrassed and disappointed,” she said. “It was cringeworthy, to say the least.”
Beauvais went on to say that Rose Perez kicked her under the table in a warning gesture.
The actress said she was expecting warm and welcoming energy and was disappointed not to receive it. Maria More said Beauvais played Fancy on The Jamie Foxx Show. She was also on The Real; however, that show got canceled.
Rosie Perez defended herself, said More. Perez claimed that she was trying to keep Beauvais on time.
“Well, you know how it is sometimes when a new girl comes in and just be in their feelings,” said More.
