D.L. Hughley Blasts McConnell’s Relatives for Slave Ownership

A few weeks ago Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell basically refuse the idea of slavery reperations to Africans-Americans and D.L. Hughley may know why. 

NBC reported that McConnell’s ancestors owned slaves, 14 to be exact. Most were of mulatto decent, meaning they were the children of most likely the slave owner.

DL point it this way:

“If you shake Mitch McConnell’s family tree rape victims were falling.”

Hughley went on to call out McConnell’s hypocrisy on the matter of reparations when his own family benefited from the use of slaves and gave a solution to how to solve the issue of reparations in the McConnell family.

“He understands more than anybody else what slavery did to people,” he said.

“I tell you what Mitch McConnell, the next time you go to your family reunion and you see a light skin McConnell, pay them, it ain’t that hard.”
