“Heavy Metal” will be the first single from Mike’s upcoming debut album. Kickstarted by an old school sample, the track’s menacing thump underscores hard-hitting magnetic rhymes from Mike. The video directed by Will Bloom shows footage from Mike raging with hundreds of his fans in a local San Antonio WhataBurger parking lot.

“Heavy Metal” serves as the follow-up to “FLEEK.” The latter has cracked 1 million Spotify stream in addition to earning acclaim. Brooklyn Vegan declared, “Mike Dimes caps off his biggest year yet with a great new single, ‘FLEEK’.”

2022 saw him engage a full-on barrage with fan favorite bangers such as “247,” “TALK2ME,” “HOME,” and more. Along the way, he has impressively tallied a quarter-of-a-billion streams in addition to inciting the applause of Consequence of Sound, Pitchfork, Billboard, XXL, and many more.

However, 2023 has all the makings of a star-making moment for the Texas spitter. It’s Mike Dimes’s moment.
