Dahan joins Boyarski Fritz LLP after two years running his own private practice. Prior to that, he was an associate at Johnson & Johnson LLP where he worked on high profile transactional and litigation cases in music and film.

Early in his career, Dahan worked at WME, Roc Nation and Columbia Records, as well as owning his own live events business before attending law school at USC’s prestigious Gould School of Law.

Dahan’s roster of clients include multi-platinum songwriter/ producer Johnny Goldstein (SonyATV/APG), DJ/Producer duo DVBBS (Ultra), as well as recording artists Dempsey Hope (RCA/SonyATV), Sebastian Javier (Elektra/Warner Chappell), and Slush Puppy(Disruptor/Sony).

He also co-counsels several clients with firm Partner Jason Boyarski, including TikTok sensation JVKE whose single “Upside Down” features Charlie Puth.

Zinaman joins the firm after serving as Senior Attorney at the entertainment firm Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP, where he specialized in transactions and negotiations in music, film, television, and corporate matters including financing, development, production, distribution, and corporate structuring.

Zinaman began his career after graduating the University of Michigan Law School in 2015 as an Associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York City, where he handled massive corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, credit finance, and securities.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our firm to Los Angeles on its tenth anniversary with two key additions,” said firm partner Jason Boyarski.

“Avi brings with him important entertainment experience, having worked in diverse areas of the music business. His background, coupled with his passion for music, keeps his finger on the pulse of the LA music scene, and makes him a perfect fit to our firm.” Regarding Zinaman, partner David Fritz adds “Evan joins us with many foundational years of entertainment and corporate deal-making at the highest levels. His expertise will prove to be a very valuable addition for our clients.”
