BMG CONCLUDES TALPA MUSIC ACQUISITION

BMG has announced it has concluded the acquisition of Talpa Music, the leading Benelux-based music publisher which includes some of world’s leading EDM stars among its writers. The Talpa Music acquisition not only makes BMG Benelux � now renamed BMG Talpa Music � the leading publisher of local repertoire in the region, it also brings with it an unparalleled roster of EDM stars, including Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Giorgio Tuinfort, Fabian Lenssen, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero. The Talpa Music-published European smash hit ‘Waves’ by Mr Probz is currently Number One in Germany.

The new BMG Talpa Music Board of Directors will consist of Hartwig Masuch, BMG CEO, Dr. Maximilian Dressend�rfer, BMG CFO, and Tony Berk, former Talpa Music B.V. President, who will head the board as non-executive chairman.

Frank Bruens will be appointed as Managing Director BMG Talpa Music.BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch said, “Talpa Music has done an incredible job in not only building an extremely strong local roster, but also assembling some of the most sought-after EDM writers around.
