The track is available digitally on Make Records/Platoon and its vocals are courtesy of UK based singer Jem Cooke, who recently wrote and appeared on the Camelphat song "Breathe." Speaking about the collaboration, Zero 7's Sam Hardaker explains: "We're excited to have collaborated on this latest track with our new friend Jem Cooke on vocals." Zero 7 are no strangers to vocal collaborations with Swimmers following their previous singles "Aurora," which featured acclaimed Swedish songwriter Jose González on vocals, and Mono with upcoming vocalist, Hidden. The tour will begin at Casino Rama in Rama Ontario, where Starr has performed many times, and launched several previous tours (2001, 2003, 2006 and 2014). It will include a mini residency at New York’s Beacon Theater and three tour dates with multi-Grammy Award nominated Americana legends The Avett Brothers - at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor Maine, at Boston’s Boch Center Wang Theatre and at the Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. Former All Starr Edgar Winter will be the support act for two shows in Florida, St. Augustine and Clearwater. This announcement comes on the heels of the release of Ringo’s 20th studio record, What’s My Name. The title track is a rousing anthem written by a returning All Starr Band member, Colin Hay, that turns a familiar chant from Ringo’s live shows into a rousing rocker sure to be a future crowd-pleaser. The record is the latest in a series of heartfelt and homespun records that Starr has produced in his home studio and a distinguished, ever-changing yet often repeating cast of musical characters and friends playing along with Ringo. Those friends include Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter, Dave Stewart, Benmont Tench, Steve Lukather, Nathan East, Colin Hay, Richard Page, Warren Ham, Windy Wagner, Kari Kimmel and more. Ringo also just released Another Day In The Life, the third in his series of books with Genesis Publications, that follows the sell-out success of Postcards From The Boys (2003) and Photograph (2013), and features previously unpublished collection of his photographs, captioned with his own thoughts and anecdotes. Reflecting his love of music, travel and nature, Another Day In The Life shows us the world as seen through Ringo's eyes. From Los Angeles to Tokyo and everywhere in between, many of Ringo's observational images celebrate the quirkiness of life. Other photographs are taken behind the scenes during historic events, such as Ringo's acceptance of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and his return to New York's Plaza Hotel, 50 years after The Beatles first visited the USA. Joined by Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh and a host of All Starr friends, in Another Day In The Life Ringo Starr shares personal moments from a legendary life in music, and offers a unique and inspiring look at the world around us. View the book at RingoStarrBook.com And this past Saturday, November 2, 2019 Mayor John Mirisch of Beverly Hills welcomed Sir Ringo Starr and Lady Starkey, joined by family and friends, at the dedication of Starr’s “Peace & Love” sculpture - which will now permanently reside at the Beverly Hills Garden Park on Santa Monica and Canon. Standing eight feet tall and weighing nearly 1,500 pounds, the polished stainless steel sculpture replicates the hand gesture Ringo adopted in 1969. “Peace & Love” is a message that has become synonymous with Ringo’s name, and he has dedicated his birthday, July 7, towards spreading that message - last year celebrating “Peace & Love” events in nearly 30 countries around the world. Ringo hopes that this gift will be a lasting way to carry the message of Peace & Love forward in a place he has called home for many years. “FEELIN’ LOW (F*CKBOY BLUES)”[/caption] Today Peach Pit have released their new single “Feelin’ Low (F*ckboy Blues).” Produced by John Congleton [St. Vincent, Best Coast] and written by Neil Smith, Chris Vanderkooy, Peter Wilton, and Mikey Pascuzzi, “Feelin’ Low” is the first song from Peach Pit since their infectious debut album Being So Normal in 2017. The band has also shared the official video for the track, which was directed by their long-time collaborator Lester Lyons-Hookham – watch HERE. Lead-singer Neil Smith says: "We actually wrote ‘Feelin’ Low’ a number of years ago, and when listening back, it reminds me of last summer and how flakey I was being. The first line of the song is ‘I want something more or less than what I have,’ which is me trying to say how disconnected I can get. I’m constantly flip-flopping between wanting more connection with the people around me and pulling away to deprive myself of it, it’s a weird cycle I get into. Last year our friends threw a wrestling-themed surprise party for our bud Daniel's birthday – I can’t remember exactly why, but I was feeling really down about something so I decided not to go. The video for ‘Feelin’ Low’ was inspired by that party and really conveys the experience of being surrounded by lots of people yet still feeling seemingly alone." Known for their vibrant live show, Peach Pit will join Two Door Cinema Club on the west coast run of the Irish band’s headline tour. The shows kick off tonight in Seattle, WA and include performances at Oakland’s Fox Theater and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium before concluding in Houston, TX on November 14. Peach Pit will also perform at this year’s Tropicalia Festival – see full routing below. “Feelin’ Low (F*ckboy Blues)” is lifted from Peach Pit’s forthcoming sophomore album due next year via Columbia Records. “SO GOOD”[/caption] Today, singer-songwriter Dove Cameron has released brand new track “So Good” via Disruptor Records / Columbia Records. Watch the official video, which features otherworldly, nature-inspired makeup by visual artist Cupid, HERE. About the new song, Dove says, “it’s is one of my favorite songs that I’ve done. I’m not the biggest fan of a straight up “feel good” track, and “So Good” is definitely a feel good track with an edge, which I think makes it a bit crunchy and special. I was excited to work with Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter and Ariel Rechtshaid on this track. I love them all and think they are brilliant songwriters.” “So Good” follows the release of Dove’s first two original songs “Waste” and “Bloodshoot.” “Waste” has accumulated over 4.5 million streams across all platforms since its release and “Bloodshoot” was praised by Rolling Stone and Cosmopolitan, which dubbed it as “a dreamy heartbreaker that might keep you up at night”
