Another Black man on the South Side of Chicago was killed by a hit and run while crossing the street. A suspect has been arrested.
Calvin Calhoun was crossing the street at Chicago Rd and 30th Street Saturday Night when he came into the path of a speeding pickup truck that hit him, briefly stopped, then kept going.
A police officer just so happened to be passing by and he responded to the victim by calling an ambulance but when Calhoun got to the hospital he died.

The suspect’s name has not been released yet but he remains in custody pending charges for vehicular manslaughter.
