The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Talks About One of the Nicest

The Rickey Smiley Morning Show talks about one of the nicest people in the entertainment industry getting shot. Ludacris’ long-time manager Chaka Zulu was shot, said Da Brat. He was struck during the argument in Buckhead in Atlanta on Sunday night.

Chaka was one of three men shot in the parking lot. The shooting took place at the bar Apt 4B. One man was killed during the shooting, while Chaka and another unnamed victim were taken to the hospital for surgery.

Chaka and the other victim are expected to recover from their injuries. Although the gunman has not been taken into custody, police said they do have surveillance of the scene and hope to identify the shooter.

“I have not obviously spoken to him, just people who are close. I know from my understanding he had some surgeries and some procedures done… it’s really sad and unfortunate because it was just, you know, from my understanding, somebody trying to get into a club,” said the show’s producer.

Da Brat said that’s why she does not go outside. Anything could happen. Somebody got shot at Subway because there was too much mayonnaise on the sandwich.

The shooting could have happened to anyone, said Da Brat. The saddest part is that Chaka does not bother anyone and is a very nice person, she added.
