Detroit’s Earl Hayes broke into the music industry on a major level by way of a bidding war between Dr Dre, Eminem, Jay Z, 50 Cent and Atlantic Records. Eventually Jimmy Iovine ended the bidding war with a seven figure deal that landed Hayes on Interscope Records. Due to creative differences and political power shifts out of Hayes’ control the deal ran it’s course within 4 years. At the end of this time Hayes was immedeately signed to Dr Dre’s Aftermath Records, which lead to a joint venture with Timbaland’s Moseley Music Group.
Unfortunately the 2 superstars clashed, leading to irreconcilable differences and sending Hayes back to ghost writting. Among the superstar names he’s worked with: The Pussy Cat Dolls, Dr.
Dre, Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Pitbull, Usher, Swizz Beatz, Gucci Mane, 50 Cent, Lloyd, Rich Boy, Keri Hilson, P diddy, Rick Ross and Limp Bizkit just to name a few. Most recently Hayes embarked in a joint venture with 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather’s “The Money Team”. Now, still closely affilated with “The Money Team” and Floyd Mayweather, Hayes is poised to take off as a solo artist with a new single “Images”, produced by Prime Maximus, and a “31 days in May” campaign comprised of daily freestyle videos every day during the month of May.
