United We Feed: KARN-FM Food & Fund Drive

102.9 KARN-FM in Little Rock recently wrapped up its United We Feed Food Drive, successfully collecting over 4,000 pounds of food and $8,075 for the Arkansas Food Bank.

The event took place on November 6th and 7th at Chris Crain Dodge Jeep Ram in Benton, AR, where the station used its on-air and digital platforms to rally support for local families battling hunger and food insecurity.

Toby Howell, Program Director of NewsRadio 102.9 KARN, expressed his gratitude, stating, “We are deeply thankful to our partners, including the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, Chris Crain Dodge Jeep Ram for hosting the drop-off site, Elite Movers for providing the truck, and The Justin Minton Law Firm for their on-site assistance.

We also appreciate Dale’s Donut Shop and Lokal Koffee Roasters of Benton for keeping everyone fueled with food and drinks.”

He added, “This event truly showcased the spirit of giving, as it allowed us to bring the community together to support our neighbors in need. It’s heartwarming to know that the donations will help make the holidays brighter for many families.”
