Last Thursday (3/12), BMI hosted a special gathering at its London office with PLATINUM-selling artist Ty Myers, known for his work as a singer-songwriter and guitarist.

The invitation-only event attracted key figures from the music industry who had the chance to hear Myers discuss the highly anticipated release of his second album, Heavy On The Soul, set to drop on March 27.

During the intimate session, moderated by BMI’s Jackson Kiger, Myers shared insights into the creative process behind the album, including how he wrote 11 of its 17 tracks.

Attendees were treated to a live preview as Myers performed a selection of his new songs, including “Songs for You,” “Gone Too Long,” “Morning Comes,” and the solo-written “Through a Screen.” This special event took place just ahead of Myers’ upcoming main stage performance at the C2C Festival.
