Prince Surprise Performance at the Dakota Jazz Club

Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis, MN will host the last of a four night engagement by the artist, entitled Three NIghts With Prince, and tonight’s finale: DJ Set By DJ Rashida and Prince.  According to drfunkenberry.com, Prince has completed two shows per night for three nights this week. The week also was to include auditions for a new drummer. Sheila E. drummed in Prince’s band off and on from 1984 until her 2011 announcement on Twitter that would not be performing with him anymore.  Tonight’s show is $25 per person, and a representative from the club/restaurant states maximum capacity is merely 290 to 300 people.  Prince’s most recent tour entitled “Welcome 2” concluded last year in Chicago, IL on Sept. 26th.
