SESAC Honors Top Film and Television Composers

With more than 60 awards given during the evening, some of the industry’s most highly rated shows were honored, including Grey’s Anatomy, Mike & Molly, Save Me, Parenthood, Two And A Half Men, How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Girls among many others.

A major highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Visionary Award presentation to Netflix in recognition of “exceptional creativity and innovation in entertainment media.” Netflix, the world’s leading Internet television network with over 48 million members in more than 40 countries, was also cited for its original series, House of Cards, which features the music of sesac composer Jeff Beal.
