Sophia Sansone has rapidly ascended the ranks to become a Managing Partner at Make Wake Artists, a Nashville-based management firm, in less than a decade. Joining the company in 2017 as an assistant to founder Chris Kappy, Sansone has demonstrated exceptional strategic acumen and a strong commitment to artist advocacy, contributing significantly to the long-term career development of her clients.
Sansone has been pivotal in the management of Luke Combs, particularly during a transformative period for his career. Her role extends to managing Nicole Combs and overseeing brand and philanthropic initiatives. Recently, in 2025, she took on the management of Grammy Award-winning group The Band Perry, guiding their return to the country music scene while respecting their influential legacy.
A Vanderbilt University graduate, Sansone attributes her leadership style to her upbringing in a large family, which fostered her collaborative approach and decisiveness. Her contributions have not gone unnoticed, earning her multiple accolades, including placements on Billboard’s Women in Music lists and MusicRow’s Next Big Thing.
In recognition of her achievements, Sansone will be honored as part of MusicRow’s Rising Women on the Row class of 2026 in March.
