90s Rapper Coolio Found Dead at 59

90s Rapper Coolio was found dead on a friend’s bathroom floor today from what appears to have been a heart attack.

The 90s rapper, whose real name was Artis Leon Ivey Jr., had been visiting a friend when he went to the bathroom and didn’t come out.

The friend knocked on the door repeatedly and finally went in and found Coolio lying unresponsive on the floor. When paramedics arrived, they announced him dead on the scene.

Coolio shot to stardom in the mid-90s with a bevy of hits, including “Gangsta’s Paradise,” 1,2,3,4 (Sumpin’ New),” “It’s All the Way Live (Now), and “Fantastic Voyage.”

Coolio married industry vet and radio DJ Josefa Salinas from 1996 to 2000. He was the father of six children.

Coolio was born on August 1, 1963, in Compton, California, and his real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr. Coolio is best known for his hit song “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which was released in 1995 and won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. He has also released several other successful albums, including “It Takes a Thief” and “My Soul.”

In addition to his music career, Coolio has also appeared in several movies and TV shows, including “Batman & Robin” and “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.” He has also made appearances on reality TV shows, such as “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Celebrity Cook-Off.”

Coolio was also a trained chef and has hosted his own cooking show, “Cookin’ with Coolio,” which aired on the online network My Damn Channel. He has also published a cookbook, “Cookin’ with Coolio: 5 Star Meals at a 1 Star Price.”
