R.I.P -Melvin C. Butler, aka DJ “The Cooker”

 width=Melvin C. Butler, “The Cooker”, 69, passed away July 3, 2012. Born July 23, 1942 in , , son of James E. Butler and Mary E. Burley-Butler. He was a DJ on WKND Radio in Hartford as well as on WDAS in Philadelphia. He leaves daughter Cynthia Butler Milner of East Hartford; son Marvin Carr of Auburn, ; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at HKH-Clark Bell & Bell Funeral Home 319 Barbour St., Hartford. To leave a message of comfort to the Butler Family, please visit our website at www.hkhfuneralservices.com.
