Awwww sh*t! We hope that Jimmy Fallon and the Legendary Roots Crew are ready to purify themselves in the waters of lake minnetonka because the “Purple Rain” icon is about to shut it down. In an effort to elevate his public persona and promote his new material, Prince is slated to make an appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”A rep for the late-night talk show confirmed the music legend will appear on the show Friday and will perform two songs.
It’s not clear whether he’ll perform new material or give us some of that “Adore,” “Purple Rain,” or “Diamonds & Pearls” kind of love but it is absolutely clear he will be inside the NBC Towers to do what he does best.Prince has been back in the spotlight as of late. He presented record of the year trophy at the Grammys, released the song “Screwdriver” on his new website and is due to perform several dates in Europe this summer. With the being said, all we can say is Let’s Go Crazy, Let’s Get Nuts!
