Steel Magnolias is an upcoming American comedy-drama television film directed by Kenny Leon that will premiere at Lifetime Network on October 7, 2012. It is a remake of 1989 film of the same name starring Sally Field, Shirley MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis, Dolly Parton, Daryl Hannah and Julia Roberts.
