Noisey, VICE’s music channel, today presents Episode Three: Alien V Predator V Chief Keef of an all-access pass to Chicago’s rap music scene, titled Chiraq. In the episode, we follow Chief Keef, Fredo Santana, and the crew through swarms of fans in Times Square and head backstage at Sosa’s New York show.

Shot over several months, the eight-part series is the most in-depth documentation of the personalities, controversies, and social forces shaping the current Drill music movement emerging from Chicago’s South Side; offering extensive interviews with hometown rappers and producers Chief Keef, Young Chop, Lil Durk, and SaveMoney.

Chiraq also meets with the 3Hunna and its rival gangs, the Chicago Police Department, and the Nation of Islam to investigate the violence and competing politics that pervade the Drill music scene.

The series will roll out in eight parts each Wednesday through March 12th exclusively on Noisey.
