No matter what the naysayers say about image, (some of us are NEVER satisfied) Empire is still climbing the charts as an out-of-the-box smash and last night Fox News in LA showed a couple of the writers behind the show. Hear what they say and see how elated they are to finally have an opportunity to work on a show they can relate to. Is Hollywood FINALLY seeing green first instead of black and white? Looks like it, most of the top shows on TV right now have black leads/or casts black writers and black creators. A well-known black actor told me recently “black actors complain about the lack of opportunities to work and while that is valid a majority of the ones complaining can’t act.” WOW.
