Carl Brister Advances to the 2nd Round of In the Mix Talent Competition

Carl Brister AdvancesChristian Contemporary Gospel singer and Agape Music Works Recording Artist, Carl Brister takes part in LifeZone Television’s summer competition. In the Mix talent search is a new competition that seeks upcoming but unsigned performers to keep Christ “In the mix” through dance, song, rap, and fusion all while competing for publicity to ones career.Entering the competition interested parties submitted contact info and links to best performances. Videos where judged by a selection committee and top 10 videos from each category where selected and uploaded to LifeZoneTV.com for voting.Carl Brister has made the top 10 for singers and needs the help of the public. Voting can be done until June 30, 2012. In order to advance any further Carl Brister has to have enough votes to qualify him for the top six slots for singers. Being accepted into this round Carl Brister will travel to LifeZone studios in New York City and will be able to perform live in front of a studio audience and will be evaluated by a panel of judges including: Edwina Findley (actress and vocalist from HBO’s Treme), Jeremiah Abiah (vocal coach from MTV‘s Made), Chris Belmont (CEO of JahRock’n Productions), Shanelle Gabriel (vocalist and HBO Def Poet) and Ebony Ruffin (dancer and choreographer), among others within the industry including a celebrity guest judge on July, 7 2012.After the last two rounds of public voting takes place the performers will enter the finale round and compete for the grand prize of a demo produced by NYC‘s JahRock’n Productions, a feature story on FNFLIVE.com, a feature story and interview in NEWD Magazine and Radio, a photo shoot by Zion Images, promo video by Life Zone TV, and a performance feature at major New York concert.All live shows will broadcast to over 5 million homes on the World Cable Network channel 710, the Hispanic Gospel Network, Teleafric TV, PowerBling TV, and www.lifezonetv.com/inthemix, which is where all voting for Carl Brister can be done.
