Bruno Crolot’s exit from Believe signals another shift in the company’s leadership after only seven months in his role. Keep an eye on who steps up next.
Bruno Crolot has announced his resignation from his role as President of Label & Artist Solutions at Believe, just seven months after joining the company. He confirmed the news in a LinkedIn post, stating that he is transitioning out of the organization and looking forward to new challenges ahead.
Crolot previously held a senior position at Spotify, where he served as Senior Director and Head of International Music. He made the move to Believe last summer, eager to take on the responsibilities of leading the Label & Artist Solutions business and overseeing profit and loss for the division. His role involved close collaboration with regional and local general managers, as well as TuneCore, Believe’s DIY distribution platform.
In his resignation post, Crolot expressed gratitude to Believe’s Founder and CEO, Denis Ladegaillerie, and Global Head of Music, Romain Vivien, for the opportunity. He mentioned that the experience at Believe was both intense and enlightening, but indicated that he is now ready to pursue a different path. Crolot also noted his excitement about reconnecting with his professional network, starting with the upcoming Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Before joining Believe, Crolot spent several years at Spotify, where he originally began as General Manager for France and Benelux in 2016. He played a crucial role in defining Spotify’s growth strategy in those regions and was promoted to his senior role in 2021. Crolot’s extensive career spans over twenty years in the music and digital entertainment industries, including significant positions at Universal Music, Sony Music, and Noos.
Crolot’s departure follows recent changes in Believe’s leadership. Just last week, Andreea Gleeson announced her transition from CEO of TuneCore to a Strategic Advisor role within the parent company. Following this announcement, Denis Ladegaillerie confirmed that Romain Vivien would continue overseeing TuneCore’s leadership, supported by senior executives such as Chief Revenue Officer Brian Miller and Chief Technology and Product Officer Luxi Huang. These developments highlight ongoing shifts within Believe as it seeks to invest in its future and maintain momentum in a competitive market.
