BRYON HENDERSON NAMED PROMOTIONS DIRECTOR AT WGCI-FM

Derrick Brown, Program Director for Urban Programming at Clear Channel Radio Chicago today announces the promotion of Bryon Henderson to Promotions Director of 107.5 WGCI-FM. He served as interim Promotions Director since last month. Derrick Brown commented, “I am excited to see Bryon grow within our organization.

In a very short period of time he has demonstrated that he has the leadership skills and vision we need to continue to successfully operate 107.5 WGCI-FM.” Bryon Henderson is a Chicagoland Native. He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School and received his Degree in Music Business from the University of Miami, FL with Minors in Marketing and Music Performance. He began his radio career in 2007 as the Promotions Coordinator of WVAZ V103 (102.7 FM), and WGRB-AM Inspiration 1390 under the direction of Echo Robinson, Promotions Director.

Henderson added, “I have been so fortunate to have worked with awesome people who truly believe in me and allowed me to grow professionally. Growing up I listened to WGCI, so this is an honor and the beginning of a new chapter. With the help of the staff, I am sure we will take WGCI to the next level.”
