The 12th annual McDonald’s �365Black Awards are set to bring celebrities and community leaders from across the country to the New Orleans Theater at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The lively annual event will take place during ESSENCE Festival weekend and recognize exceptional leaders who make positive contributions within the African-American community.

This year’s honoree’s include award winning director, Ava DuVernay, Dr. Marvin Sapp, Jeff Johnson, Marc Morial, and McDonald’s owner Carolyn Hunter. �Also being honored are two�Community Choice Youth Award �Recipients, Tori Turner, and Aaron Johnson.�It all goes down July 3, 2015 at the�New Orleans Theater.

McDonald’s 365Black Awards launched in 2003 as an extension of the company’s 365Black platform, which celebrates the pride, heritage and achievements of American-Americans year round.
