AURN & Superadio Celebrate Gracie Awards Wins

Sister companies AURN and Superadio each secured winners at the 2024 Gracie Awards, which recognizes outstanding achievements by women in the media industry. On the Superadio side, and in her second consecutive win, Katrina B retains her title as Producer of the Year, – Syndicated Commercial Radio-Entertainment, for her groundbreaking work on “Nessa on Air.”

Originating out of New York City on HOT 97, “Nessa on Air” has become a vital part of the syndicating companies Urban and Rhythmic CHR stations lineup. Hosted by the celebrated MTV and “Live From the Red Carpet” host, Nessa, the show offers a daily five-hour mix of music, culture, and celebrity insights, solidifying its place as a cultural touchstone for pop culture and Hip-Hop enthusiasts.

AURN’s Kristen Farrah, is being honored as Producer of the Year, Syndicated Commercial Radio-Talk, for her remarkable work on Radio Health Journal. This health, science and technology public affairs show airs on over 700 stations and has made significant contributions to the broadcasting landscape. Farrah is part of AURN’s fresh approach to public affairs programming.

She has taken Radio Health Journal stories and tied them to social media and podcasting allowing for further engagement with listeners both on the radio and on the go. Farrah’s commitment to independent journalism has made Radio Health Journal an invaluable resource and a staple in the world of syndicated radio and podcasts.
