Jill Scott Considering Leaving America—Should We Blame Her?

In the land of the free and the home of the brave, it seems as if the brutality toward Black men and women is still a major issue. Let me not even say it seems; it is still a major issue in this country. The systemic issues that still exist in America can make it rough on a young Black man trying to just exist.

We can always rise above and we have proven that we can do so, however, it gets old fighting the same issues our ancestors had to fight. Jill Scott, who appeared on the Jemele Hill is Unbothered podcast, was asked how she felt about raising a young Black man in this climate, and she was dead ass serious in her response. Jilly from Philly is truly contemplating moving out of the country.

She is looking into Holland as an option. I can concur that Holland is a legitimate and possibly dope alternative based on personal knowledge of the country. How are you feeling about America these days?

I’m also hearing Ghana is a pretty good option. What do you think? Check out the clip
