Former Buffalo Officer Cariol Horne Seeks Pension

We ran a story a couple of weeks ago about a black female police officer in Buffalo, NY who was fired for protecting a black male suspect from being choked by a white police officer.The officer turned around and punched her in the jaw and she was fired and lost her pension after serving 19 years on the job. She has been fighting for her pension since 2006. Radio Facts readers spread the story when we ran it garnering over 100,000 shares.

Since we ran the video and story it has been picked up by major news outlets like The New York Post and The Hill. We wish her the best. Here is an update from Cariol.
