We are sad to report that Capitol records industry veteran Ronnie Johnson passed away yesterday from a heart attack. Johnson and his mother, the legendary Irene Ware have always been big supporters of Radio Facts. We are very sad to hear the tragic news. Ronnie was one of the most down to earth sincerest people I’ve ever met in the industry and I just spoke with him before the holiday break about acts and projects he had coming in 08. He will be greatly missed. Our sincerest condolences go out to the family. Here is a recent picture of Ronnie accepting an award with Capitol Record’s MIMS

Capitol Records RIAA platinum-certified artist MIMS is presented with a special award from Virgin Mobile USA for being the 50-millionth ringtone downloaded by Virgin Mobile customers. Ronnie Johnson was a true nice Guy…In this business it’s very hard to find someone who tells you the truth. He really cared about people..

See you in heaven Ronnie….

Ronnie Johnson was one in a million. We had big plans for pushing an independent project that I am working on with Steve and Capitol Records. Ronnie’s spirit was so warm and positive and he made you feel comfortable in his presence. We love you man, and will miss you dearly! My heart and my pain goes out to his family…
