Re: The Passing of Industry Veteran, Carl Conner Sr. It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of industry veteran, Carl Conner. Carl passed away on Friday, June 23rd in Houston, TX after battling with heath issues.

Carl Conner worked in the radio broadcasting industry for over 47 years in such markets as Chicago, Atlanta, Memphis, Augusta, Houston, and Columbus, GA. In 2016, Carl retired from Davis Broadcasting Inc. as the VP of Operations after over 20 years of service with the company.
“Carl was not only widely respected in the industry, but I also considered him a close friend and he will truly be missed. He genuinely cared about people and loved what he did,” says CEO and President of Davis Broadcasting Inc., Gregory Davis Sr.
