Entertainment One Completes Deal With�1501 Certified Entertainment, Indie Houston Label Founded by Carl Crawford

First of several anticipated releases is new project by rapper Stunna Bam

Entertainment One (eOne) announces a new deal with 1501 Certified Entertainment, the Houston label owned by Major League Baseball alum Carl Crawford.� The first release under this global, new deal will be the forthcoming project by new Houston rapper Stunna Bam.�

Alan Grunblatt, eOne’s President, Urban Music, says, “Carl has had great success with his label and truly knows how to identify and nurture talent. I’m thrilled to be working with him and his team.”

Crawford says, “I’m thrilled to partner with Alan and eOne to build on Stunna’s success, and this expanded and stronger team will continue to celebrate Texas’ rich, musical culture.”

The label’s biggest success story to date is platinum rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who Crawford discovered from her Instagram video posts. 1501 is also home to Dallas rapper Erica Banks,whose smash hit “Buss It,” has launched her into spotlight. Stunna Bam will follow with new music shortly.
